!! Tomorrow we will have our Holiday Drive-Thru at William O Schaeffer from 4:30 to 7:30. Come out and enjoy the drive-thru holiday experience and see Santa to receive a gift!

The Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan will be hosting its 5th Annual Holiday Drive-Thru on Saturday, December 21st from 4:30 to 7:30 PM

Due to the ongoing construction at our Western Highway firehouse, this event will be held at William O. Schaefer Elementary School.

Please line up on Lester Drive facing south towards Washington Avenue by the entrance to the circle for the school and we ask that you stay in your vehicles through the event.

No Caption This evening a little after 8pm our members were alerted to a vehicle fire in town

Tappan Fire Department, December 04

Upon arrival our 1st Lieutenant confirmed a working car fire with an electrical pole compromise. Crews from 21-1502 and 21-1500 a long with a crew from Sparkill FD worked to extinguish the car fire. No reported injuries, and all crews were back in service within the hour.... (Full Story & Photos)

RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE IN ORANGEBURG NY (TAPPAN FIRE DISTRICT) Early this morning at 2:13am the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan was dispatched to what came in as “Fire Outside” on Ethan Allen CT in Orangeburg

Tappan Fire Department, November 04

21-4 quickly followed by 21-1 & 21-2 arrived on scene with in minutes to find a fully involved deck with fire running the siding and entering the rear of the house impacting the 1st & 2nd floor’s as well as the attic. A signal 12 (working fire) was transmitted at 2:18am.

21-1500 arrived on scene first due closely followed by 21-75.
