The Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan is proud to raise awareness for an amazing local fundraiser in memory of our beloved brother, mentor, and friend — Freddie Simms Jr.

Freddie will never be forgotten, and we ask that everyone make an effort to visit the Rail Trail any Friday this month to support this incredible cause.

The FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation, a nonprofit organization, who provided tremendous support to Freddie and his family during their time of need. Your contributions will allow this foundation to continue helping other members and their families in the future.

We would also like to thank The Rail Trail Café for participating in such a meaningful cause. Your establishment was one of Freddie’s favorite places to enjoy breakfast!
