On Wednesday May 2nd, 2018 at 6:03pm the Tappan Fire Department responded mutual aid to Orangburg Fire Department at the scene of a large brush fire. The fire was found on Clausland Mountain in the Southwest of Nike Lane. The fire was filanlly extinguished at approximately 8:15pm and all personnel were withdrawn from the area after performing a “fire break.”
