21-4 quickly followed by 21-1 & 21-2 arrived on scene with in minutes to find a fully involved deck with fire running the siding and entering the rear of the house impacting the 1st & 2nd floor’s as well as the attic. A signal 12 (working fire) was transmitted at 2:18am.

21-1500 arrived on scene first due closely followed by 21-75.

16-99, 21-1502, 11-2000, 13-FAST & an Engine from Northvale NJ also responded as time went on.

Given the family of the household self evacuated prior to FD arrival, 21-1500 crew was able to immediately stretched off the bed to the rear of the building in addition to a cross lay to the front door. 16-99 & 21-75 crews augmented in truck operations and 21-1502 & 11-2000 crews filled in as needed.

Crews worked together to knock the fire, ventilate and thoroughly check for extensions and hotspots. A Signal 11 (under control) was transmitted at 3:34am.
