No Caption On September 23, 2025, at 08:24 hours, Department 21 was dispatched to a rescue call for a victim whose legs were trapped in a machine

Within minutes, Assistant Chief S. Neuendorf (21-2) arrived on scene and confirmed one individual with both feet entrapped in an industrial-grade wood chipper. Rescue-Engine 21-1502 and Aerial Ladder 21-75 responded promptly and arrived on scene. Members located the victim in the care of South Orangetown Ambulance EMTs and Rockland County Paramedic Services (Medic 21).

This year was a very important year to us as we took an extra moment to remember Tappan Ex-Chief, FDNY Captain Fred Simms Jr. who passed away in June after a battle with 9/11 related illness. We would like to thank anyone who came to the service this morning as this event is something important for everyone to remember and honor the brave lives that were lost that day and the people who continue ... Our members attended the 113th RCVFA parade yesterday hosted by the Nanuet Fire Department

After our members spent countless hours preparing our vehicles we brought home 1st place Chief’s vehicle, 1st place Motorized antique, and 1st place Aerial.

Congratulations to our Ladies auxiliary for bringing home 3rd place trophy.

Congratulations to our musical group, Hudson Valley Professional Musicians for winning 3rd place Musical Unit.
