Firefighter Geoffrey Dick, February 27

On Tuesday February 27th the Tappan fire Department was requested to send an engine to the scene of a working dumpster and trailer fire. Upon arriving on scene we were notified that there were currently 3 trailers fully engulfed in flames and were ordered to stretch hand lines and assist in overhaul. Tappan Golf Kitchen Fire

Firefighter Geoffrey Dick, February 26

Early Monday morning on February 26th the Tappan fire department was called to Tappan golf for an automatic alarm. First officers on scene smelled smoke coming from the building. Orangetown fire inspector was requested to the scene. Firefighters entered the building and came upon a small fire in the kitchen. Rescue Call

Early afternoon on Friday February 23rd the Tappan Fire Department was called to the masonic grounds for a worker trapped in a dumpster. Firefighters on scene were able to remove the victim who was pinned between a construction chute and the wall of the dumpster and handed him over to South Orangetown Ambulance, where he was transported to Nyack Hospital in critical condition and the scene was turned ... On Friday January 19 just after 4am our Fire Department was requested to send our FAST team to the scene of a structure fire. Our crew arrived on scene and set up to stand by in case a firefighter goes down inside. Orangeburg FD was requested to send and engine and manpower to scene. Structure Fire in Pearl River

On October 6 just before 3:00 am Tappan Fire Department was requested to respond to Pearl River for a structure fire. 21-2 responded right to the scene and notified the crew responding where they were needed. Just after 11:30 pm on September 12th, firefighters were paged out for a vehicle fire on the Palisades Parkway just by the exit 5 ramps. We quickly found out that there was an entrapment and no fire. On July 12th the Tappan Fire Department was dispatched just up the street from the fire house for a vehicle fire. 21-1(chief) notified all responding units that the car had struck a telephone pole and had caught fire. In the early hours of Sunday, May 21st, 2017, Tappan Fire Department was dispatched to a reported car fire on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. On the evening of Wednesday, February 1st, Sparkill-Palisades Fire Department, along with Tappan, responded to a report of a house fire at 28 Closter Road, in Palisades.
